Mr. and Mrs. John M. Johnson
John and Emma Johnson celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Sept. 14.
They were married in Stevenson, Wash., in 1938.
Mr. Johnson worked in the Vancouver ship yards for several years and then Copeland Lumber Yards in Molalla. He opened Ace Home Supply in Sweet Home in 1961.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnson retired in 1978 and have traveled across the United States and Canada several times and taken many fishing trips.
They have one son, Raymond of Wamic. He just retired after 40 years with the Oregon State Game Commission. They have one daughter, Bev Crocker of Sweet Home. They have five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
