The Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce 2002 Awards Banquet has been set for Feb. 9 at the Boys and Girls Club of Sweet Home gymnasium, 880 18th Ave.
Candidates for the service awards will be Junior First Citizen, ages 18-40; First Citizen, older than 40 with five years or more community service; Distinguished Service, age 55 or older with five years of recent or previous community service; BPW Woman of the Year, judged by BPW membership; and Business of the Year, for contributions to the community over at least the last five years.
The nomination forms may be picked up from the Chamber of Commerce or The New Era newspaper office.
Nominees must be residents of the Sweet Home School District attendance area.
The completed nomination forms are due at the Chamber of Commerce office, 1575 Main St., by 5 p.m. on Jan. 24. The New Era located at 1313 Main St.
