Charles Milligan

Charles “Bud” Edwin Milligan, 75, a longtime resident of Sweet Home, died Feb. 21, 2017.
He was born Dec 28, 1941 in Golden, Okla., the son of Fred and Georgia (Rainey) Milligan.
His family moved to Sweet Home in 1950.
In 1963 Mr. Milligan married Marilee (Mills) Williams. They had four children before divorcing in 1987.
Mr. Milligan worked at Willamette Industries in Foster from the age of 21 until he retired.
He was a huge fan of western movies and a gun collector. He will be missed very much.
He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Neomi Stults of Sweet Home; son Brian Milligan of Hillsboro; daughters Shannah Milligan of Albany and Angie Milligan of Portland; brothers Jerry Milligan of Sweet Home, Roger Milligan of Albany and Larry Milligan of Lebanon; sisters Edna Ferebee and Barbara Anderson of Albany; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Freddie Milligan; and son Terry Milligan.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 11, in Albany for family and close friends.
