Charlotte Lavona Whitlatch, 95, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was born on August 11, 1928 to Leota (Horning) and William Selvester in Pedee.

She lived at the Oaks Retirement Facility in Lebanon for 10 years. Four months ago she moved to Wiley Creek Memory Facility in Sweet Home.

Charlotte was a homemaker for many years and worked as a secretary for the Oregon Fish and Wildlife until she retired in 1989. She liked to do artwork, drawing, needlework and make jewelry.

She is survived by her son-in-law Ken Johnston of Sweet Home; grandson Nathan Johnston of Stevensville, Montana; granddaughter Bethany and her husband Phillip Jackson of Sweet Home; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents William and Leota Selvester; brother Delmar Selvester; husband Richard Whitlatch; daughter Sherry Johnston.
