Cherie Crystal Johnson, 78, of Sweet Home passed away Saturday. She was born in Oregon City to Reuben Ervin and Dorothy Lee (Starr) Zacher.
She served in the Women’s Army Corps from 1954 – 1956 and then re-enlisted in the army until 1959.
Cherie graduated in Vale, Oregon, in June of 1954. She married while she was in the service and they later divorced. She moved to Sweet…
