Sweet Home Junior High staff members Madelyn Hawken, left, Tim Faulconer, middle, and Billy Canfield enjoy some Chick-fil-A in the staff room during the lunch hour on Oct. 13. Chick-fil-A reached out to a sister church of the Sweet Home-based Hope Church, and asked if the place of worship wanted to “bless a business” with a free lunch. Through Hope Church Pastor Mark Opperman’s connection to Sweet Home, the local Junior High was chosen as the recipient of the meal.
