On May 1, the Christian Motorcyclists Association will host its 16th Annual Run for the Son.
The Lebanon Prayer Warriors, one of the approximately 800 chapters involved in the Christian Motorcyclists Association, will participate in the run.
This will be a 100-mile ride, in which riders will seek sponsors to help raise money for CMA to “spread the light of Jesus to every nation.”
Over the past 16 years, CMA has raised more than $14 million to help present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to millions of persons around the world. Every penny promptly goes to work. This year, 20 percent goes for Bibles to closed and restricted countries, 20 percent goes for motorcycles to native pastors around the world, 20 percent goes to help the “Jesus Film” spread the Word of God and 40 percent is used by CMA to help reach motorcyclists here at home.
This year, CMA’s goal is $2.6 million.
Anyone interested in participating in this event can meet CMA in Lebanon at Korner Kitchen, 940 Main St., at 9 a.m. The group will go approximately 100 miles round trip.
