Christl Maria Alheit, 89, of Sweet Home died July 29, 2013.
She was born June 19, 1924 in Pirmasens, formerly East Germany, to Ernst and Therese Morgenbesser.
She married Fredrick Alheit on Dec. 16, 1959 in Rochester, N.Y. They also lived in Craig, Colo. before moving to Sweet Home.
