— Tree Lighting Ceremony: Set for 5 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the intersection of 18th and Long, there will be fun, music, hot chocolate and a chance for photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus courtesy of Beth Lambert of State Farm Insurance.
— Lighted Christmas Parade: The parade, “A Storybook Christmas,” kicks off at 5:30 p.m. marching west on Long Street to 13th Avenue and turning right to Main Street. The parade makes another right to 22nd Avenue where it will disperse.
— Parade applications are available at the Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce. Persons may call 367=8168 for more information.
— Singing Christmas Tree: The annual community Christmas concert starts at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 and 3 p.m. on Dec. 7 in the Sweet Home High School auditorium. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there too.
— Holiday Bazaars: The Evangelical Church Christmas Bazaar, 1347 Long St., runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 6.
The East Linn Museum Holiday Bazaar runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sweet Home Community Center, 890 18th Ave. The Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District’s Sharing Tree will be there.
