Christopher J. Wilcox, 67, of Sweet Home passed away July 30, 2025.
He was born Jan. 30, 1958 in Lebanon to Walter F. Wilcox and Patricia A. (Tyler) Wilcox.
After graduating from Sweet Home High School in 1976, he served 18 years in the Navy. Touring all over the world, he met his wife Becky, in Hawaii; they married Feb. 2, 1980. Their son Tim was born Jan. 6,1983, and daughter DeAnna was born on June 26,1985, while serving there.
Their next port was at Waukegan, Ill., where they were blessed with the birth of their daughter Louise Aug. 21, 1991.
While in Mayport, Fla., Cristopher medically retired from the Navy in 1994, then he and his family came back to Sweet Home.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Becky Wilcox of Sweet Home; son Tim Wilcox of Salem; daughters DeAnna DeBrie, and Louise Creek of Sweet Home; brothers Mike Wilcox and Jim Wilcox of Sweet Home, and Bill Wilcox of Waterloo; and sister Edith Wilcox of Sweet Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
