James Lee Baker, 18, was arrested in Polk County Oct. 23 on a Linn County warrant for failure to appear at a sentencing hearing for burglary.
He pleaded no contest to a charge of second-degree burglary on Sept. 10 and was supposed to appear in Linn County Circuit Court on Oct. 19.
Baker was one of three passengers in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Polk County taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
Baker was arrested June 21 in connection to a burglary and theft of cigarettes from Sweet Home Safeway, 1540 Main St.
He was located by an officer on routine patrol who had observed a passenger matching a description of the suspect in the burglary.
The pickup had been reported stolen, and the driver, Matthew Everett Wood, was sentenced to 30 months in prison in connection to the theft of the vehicle.
Baker remained lodged at Linn County Jail Monday.
A rescheduled sentencing hearing is set for Nov. 5, and he has been charged with failure to appear at the previous sentencing hearing.
