The City of Sweet Home is seeking applications from those interested serving on a charter review committee.
The committee will include up to seven citizens residing inside the Sweet Home city limits, including two councilors, two former councilors and three at-large residents. The city manager will provide technical support for the committee.
The committee will review the city’s current charter and make recommendations for changes to the City Council. Any changes to the charter must be authorized by a majority of Sweet Home voters.
The time commitment will be from six to 12 months.
Interested citizens should complete an application and turn it in at the city manager’s office at City Hall, 1140 12th Ave., by 5 p.m. on Jan. 13. Signed applications may be dropped off in person, mailed, faxed or e-mailed to [email protected].
