Two persons have filed to run for Sweet Home City Council.
Newcomer Aaron Pye and incumbent Councilor Bruce Hobbs have filed as candidates. Planning Commissioner James Goble said he plans to file.
Terms for Hobbs, Craig Fentiman, Scott McKee Jr. and Greg Mahler expire on Dec. 31.
Mahler and McKee said they are undecided, and Fentiman said he is not running, ending a 26-year run as a councilor.
To run for council, a Sweet Home resident must be a legal voter and have lived in Sweet Home for at least one year at the time of filing.
