The Sweet Home City Council he Sweet Home City Council plans to hold a special meeting tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 19, to discuss the
recent decision by Samaritan Health Services to not displace the residents of Wiley Creek Community.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Annex.
The discussion is expected to include the possibility of a Regional Substance Abuse Clinic somewhere in the Linn, Benton, and Lincoln County area.
Representatives of Samaritan Health Services are expected to be in attendance to give the City Council an update on the status of Wiley Creek Community and progress toward identifying a suitable location for the regional substance abuse treatment facility.
