Mayor Jim Gourley and interim City Manager Christy Wurster signed papers this afternoon (July 26, 2016) finalizing the purchase of the former Sweet Home Ranger District Office, 3225 Main St., today. The city is purchasing the building from Sweet Home Forestry, LLC, for use as a new City Hall. Funds will be wired to the seller in the morning, and the city will take possession by Thursday. The cost is $750,000. The city previously paid $25,000 in earnest money. Remaining funds will come from the city’s 2016-17 budget.
