Clarice Mae Lofton, 75, of Sweet Home, died March 28, 2011.
She was born August 18, 1935 in Orofino, Idaho, to Herman A. and Marilyn V. (Dykes) Fay.
Mrs. Lofton lived most of her adult life in Sweet Home. She was a member of Hwy 20 Church of Christ and a devout Christian. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved fishing and camping with her family. She loved dogs all her life.
Mrs. Lofton is survived by her son, Calvin B. Lofton of Toronto, Canada; brothers Mike and Don Fay of Belle Fourche, S.D., and Jim Fay of Eugene; sisters Mary of Grants Pass and Sharon of Portland; and numerous nieces and nephews throughout Oregon, South Dakota and Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Lofton; son Greg Lofton; parents; and brothers Harlan A. Fay and Allen Fay.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at Hwy 20 Church of Christ, 3025 Hwy 20, Sweet Home.
