Classes offered for home-schooled children

Local home-school families are invited to join the Brownsville Home School Group every Monday at Central Linn School District office at 331 E. Blakely Ave. in Brownsville.

Classes start Sept. 12 at Central Linn?s District Office – 9a.m.-1p.m. for grades K-7, and 12:15 p.m.-4:30 p.m. for grades 8-12.

There are three age groups available, and the classes are as follows: Classes offered for K-3 grades are American History, Sign Language, PE, and Science. Classes offered for 4-7 grades are American History, Sign Language, PE, Science, and Creative Writing. Classes offered for 8-12 grades are Sign Language, Creative Writing, and Humanities (which will entail studying different countries, their history, and their cultures).
