Clifford ‘Jim’ James Panages

Clifford James Panages, 66, of Sweet Home passed away Nov. 2, 2022.

He was born Aug. 22, 1956, in Hermiston to Clifford Konstintine and Pansy Viola (Ray) Panages.

Jim served in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 until his honorable discharge in 1978. He then served in the Reserves from 1978 till 1980.

He lived in Hermiston until 1970 when he bought the Lebanon Farmers Market and moved to Lebanon, finally settling in Sweet Home in 1979.

He enjoyed helping others, repairing vehicles and log trucks. He loved spending time with his family.

Jim is survived by his wife Faith Panages of Sweet Home; children Hope Panages of Albany and Heidi Jewell of Sweet Home; siblings Cathy Langdahl amd Sandy Anderson, both of Sparks, Nev.; grandchildren Tyanna-Kai Lowden of California, Cole Lowden and Jayden Lowden , both of Kentucky, Karissa Jewell of Sweet Home; one great-grandchild, Walker Jewell; one son-in-law, Jimmy Jewell; and two brother-in-laws, Clyde Brigham, Shelby Brigham.

He was preceded in death by his brother Steve Panages; and grandson Tanner Jewell.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
