Clyde James Brown, 62, of Sweet Home, died Aug. 7, 2007 at his home.
He was born in Boise, Idaho to Clyde DeWayne and Chrystal (Brown) Brown.
Mr. Brown lived in Oregon since 1968, settling in Sweet Home during the fall of 1969. He was Santa Claus at malls and private gatherings. He spent 15 years racing cars, liked horses – 500 hundred of them under the hood. He worked with metal and collected metal.
Mr. Brown raised his children. He loved life and worked hard. He always saw the good in people and let them into his home and his life.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Candace “Candy” Brown; three children, Michelle Turner of Keizer, Michael Brown of Portland and Merry Brown of Sweet Home; two sisters, Lyn Green of Sacramento, Calif. and Sharon Brown of Caldwell, Idaho; mother, Chrystal Brown of Sacramento, Calif., and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde DeWayne Brown.
