The Point Restaurant hold a Steakout event from 5 to 9 p.m. Sautrday, Oct. 16 at The Point restaurant, in which Sweet Home Police Department officers, dispatchers and staff will assist the servers by serving drinks, water, coffee and desserts.
Portions of the proceeds will be donated by the restaurant to be used for a new program, a special event planned for December,
where children spend the day with police officers. It will be open to the children of Sweet Home.
Further details will be available later.
Saturday night’s program will include a little “mystery dinner theater” as customers help the staff figure out who the “bad guy” is.
