The Philanthropic Education Organization (P.E.O.) Chapter FA, Sweet Home, Oregon is pleased to announce that all three women from Sweet Home whom the chapter recommended for a scholarship this year were awarded scholarships for the 2017-2018 school year by the Oregon P.E.O.
(Some names in a previous report of these awards were incorrect.)
This year’s recipients are: Amanda Hubbard, Samantha Ramirez and Caytlin Gillespie. All women attend colleges in Oregon, namely, George Fox University, Pacific University and University of Oregon, respectively.
The Oregon P.E.O. awards scholarships, grants for continuing education and has low cost loans to women who are pursuing a collegiate education.
The scholarship application process begins in the fall and awards are made the following April/May for the subsequent school year.
