Linn County Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded a 10-year contract to operate and maintain six campgrounds for the U.S. Forest Service in the Sweet Home Ranger District along Highway 20.
The county, which already operates Clear Lake Resort under an agreement with the Forest Service, will take over the campgrounds at the beginning of next year.
