Christin Michelle Miner and Christopher Brent Patterson of Tigard were married at 1 p.m. on March 27 at Beaverton Christian Church.
Mrs. Patterson is the daughter of Michael and Helen Miner of Sweet Home. She is a 1994 graduate of Sweet Home High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design and housing studies in 2000 from Oregon State University.
Mr. Patterson is the son of Jim Patterson of Denver, Colo., and Dan and Mary Eastman of Tigard. He is a 1992 graduate of Jesuit High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Linfield College in 1996. He is a collections coordinator II with Integra Telecom in Portland.
Rev. Don Reeves of Grant Avenue Baptist Church officiated. Boyd Hamilton was the wedding photographer.
Matron of honor was sister of the bride Raynal Cleland of Beaverton. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride Erin Brown of Portland and Staci Dominic of Portland. Best man was cousin of the groom Joe Johnson of Salem. Groomsmen were friends of the groom Jeremy Ward of Hillsboro and sister of the groom Erin Schlimgen of Bryan, Texas. Ushers were brother-in-law of the bride Josh Cleland and friends of the bride and groom Morgan MacArthur and Jason Guinn.
The bride was given away by her father, Michael Miner.
The bride wore a white satin A-line gown. She made her veil and train. She carried a bouquet of white and red roses and white lilies.
Bridesmaids wore strapless black satin dresses with black and red satin shawls. They carried bouquets of white lilies.
A reception dessert was attended by some 150 persons. The cake was a four-layer chocolate drip wedding cake. Many favorite family homemade desserts were served at the reception.
The newlyweds took their wedding trip to San Diego, Calif.
