Coupled married near Calapooia home

Jessica Martin and Kristopher Pickle of Sweet Home were married on Sept. 6 outdoors near their home on the Calapooia River.

Mrs. Pickle is the daughter of Fred and Judy Martin of Fortuna, Calif. She is a 1991 graduate of Ferndale High School, California.

Mr. Pickle is the son of Judy Kaczmarek and Brady Pickle of Sweet Home. He is a 1994 graduate of Sweet Home High School. He is a truck driver with Timberline Logging.

Justice of the Peace Jad Lemhouse of Harrisburg officiated the ceremony. Ron of R Photography in Albany was photographer.

Matrons of honor were Nicole Miranda, sister of the bride, of Fernbridge, Calif and sister of the bride Heather Olsen of Brownsville. Bridesmaids were cousins of the bride Tricia Sturdevandt of Ferndale, Calif., and Racheal Shinn of Fortuna, Calif., and friend of the bride, Karla Hendrickson of Sweet Home.

The bride’s niece, Kendra Miranda of Fernbridge, Calif., was the flower girl. Ring bearer was friend of the couple’s son Chase Hendrickson of Sweet Home.

Best man was brother of the groom Doug Pickle of Halsey. Ushers were Colby Pacy, friend of the groom, of Sweet Home; Brandon Olson, friend of the groom and brother-in-law of the bride, of Brownsville; Brent Graham, friend of the groom, of Sweet Home; and Mark Miranda, friend of the groom and brother-in-law of the bride, of Fernbridge, Calif.

A reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Sweet Home followed by a seven-day honeymoon to Playa Del Garmen, Mexico.
