Firefighters and police respond to the scene of a crash in the 2300 block of Long Street, near Mountain View, at 10:52 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4. Officials couldhear an audible sound coming from a Northwest Natural Gas box, so they stopped traffic on Long, between Mountain View and 23rd Avenue, until the gas company could arrive. The operator of the van was Ashley Victor, 21. No injuries were reported.
