Firefighters and police work at the scene of a single-vehicle crash Monday night, March 24, that knocked out power to much of the east end of Sweet Home. Police said the 1986 Dodge pickup, driven by Jeremy Lonnie Victor, 37, of Sweet Home, was eastbound when it crossed the westbound lanes, struck a power pole (visible behind the truck), breaking it, and rolled in a field.
