Crash on Pleasant Valley

According to Sheriff’s Sgt. Forest Burks, Sharon Toth, 72, of Sweet Home was driving west on Northside when her 2005 Jeep Liberty ran through a stop sign and collided with the Honda, driven northbound on Pleasant Valley by Dean Laughlin, 58, of Lebanon. According to Burks, Laughlin was seriously injured and taken to Lebanon Samaritan Community Hospital. Patrick Bloom, 48, of Independence, who was in the front passenger seat of the Honda, and Airik Laughlin, 17, of Lebanon, who was in the back passenger seat, were seriously injured. Bloom was taken to SLCH and later flown to OHSU. Laughlin was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. Two other passengers in the rear seat, Devon Laughlin, 12, of Lebanon and James Wilson, 19, of Lebanon, suffered more minor injuries, as did Toth, the driver of the Jeep, Burks said. He said Toth was cited for failure to yield to a traffic device.
