May 6, 1933 – May 28, 2023. Curtis Lee House, 90, of Sweet Home, passed away May 28, 2023. He was born on May 6, 1933, to Lola (Fuller) and Marion House in Milburn, Oklahoma. He was in the Army stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington and Germany. Curtis lived in Port Orford, Brookings, and Gold Beach. He worked as a plywood worker and at Blanco Fisheries Cannery. He enjoyed deer and bear hunting, fishing, and getting wood in the hills.
Curtis is survived by wife Janice House of Sweet Home; children, Debi (Lewis) Fletcher of Caballo, NM, Marty House of Sweet Home, Cheryl (Gary) Troite of Albany, David (Sarah) Naiman of Sweet Home, Bonnie (Robert) Clayton of Sweet Home, Kevin (Tammy) House of Salem; brother, David House of Arizona; sister, Annette Patricia House of Springfield, sister-in-law; Cathy House of Corvallis, 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and several great, great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Lola and Marion; brothers, Archie, Tony, Marvin, and son Robert Ralls.
