Curtis Don Wilkerson, 57, of Sweet Home died Dec. 7, 2008.
He was born Oct. 18, 1951 in Sweet Home to Robert Bervin and Rosa Lou Williams. He was a long-time resident of Sweet Home.
He worked as a construction roofer. He once attended a Baptist church in town.
Mr. Wilkerson was a good friend to anyone he met, was always willing to help and had a polite manner. All of his friends called him Kermet or Kermie. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He loved to draw, watch movies, sing and play the guitar. He collected Hot Wheels, chopper motorcycles, and Harley Davidson motorcycle models.
He liked to study the Bible, play board games including chess and have good times with his friends.
Mr. Wilkerson never married. He is survived by his good friend Donna Brown and many others. He has a daughter, Gloria, whose location is not known. He had lost touch with his siblings.
A memorial service was held Dec. 11 at the Church of the Nazarene in Sweet Home.
