Dale Klinner, 66, of Flint, Texas and Sweet Home died Feb. 7, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born July 3, 1944 in Portland to Leo and Joyce (Thompson) Klinner. He served in the Army and was the owner of D & N Grocery in Tyler.
Survivors include his wife, Nevella Klinner; children Ken Klinner, Rodney Dangler, Steven Dangler, Tim Klinner, Kristina Griffin, Lora Slaughter and Debra Taramona; father Leo Klinner; brothers Gary Klinner and Jim Klinner; sister Lila Hilfiker; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Klinner was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Thompson Klinner; and a brother, Wayne Klinner.
A viewing will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow 3 p.m. at Gilliland Cemetery.
