Feb. 4, 1911 – April 4, 2006
Dana Miner, 95, formerly of Sweet Home, died April 4, 2006 at the Mennonite Home.
He was born in Knoxville, Iowa, to Nellie (Morket) and Frank Miner. Mr. Miner served in the Army in the 1930s.
He was an avid bowler. He worked for Lester Shingle Mill for many years, retiring when he was 86 years old.
He is survived by his children, Dale Miner of Sweet Home, David Miner of Sweet Home, Mark Miner of Lebanon, and Edith Ditchen of Salem; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Don, Ray, and Wayne Miner.
A graveside service was held April 7 at Willamette Memorial Park in Albany. Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
