David Louis Barstad Jr., 40, of Lebanon died June 30, 2008. He was born June 20, 1968 in Lebanon to David Louis Barstad Sr. and Adeline A. Sprague.
Mr. Barstad had lived in Montana, Arizona and Oregon. He was a carpenter and mechanic. He loved cars, motorcycles and Bible study. He was involved in a recovery program and was clean and sober for one year as of June 25, 2008.
He is survived by his mother, Adeline, and her husband, Bill Hight, of Sweet Home; father Dave and wife Sue Barstad of Dayton; son, Samuel Barstad of Washington; daughter, Shyanne Barstad of Washington; sister, Tami Gustine of Silverton; and several step-brothers and step-sisters.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Barstad, in 1991.
Donations can be made to Sweet Home Funeral Chapel to help defray the cost of services.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
