David Trent Contreras, 74, of Sweet Home, passed away Jan. 20, 2018.
He was born Sept. 20, 1943 in Whittier, Calif. to the late Alphonso W. “Lonnie” and Julia M. (Mangirino) Contreras.
David was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and true friend.
He enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family. His mother often said, “David has never met a stranger” as his nature was always warm, friendly and welcoming. He was known for being kind and always eager to help others.
He is survived by his daughter, Justine (Jay) Flora; grandchildren Rachel (John) Johnson, Aaron Hall and Shanti Hall; and his great-grandson Jack.
