Dean Loux

Dean Loux, 86, of Sweet Home died March 26, 2013.

He was born Feb. 1, 1927 in Walthill, Neb. to Ralph E. and Gladys (Theobald) Loux.

Mr. Loux served in the United States Army from 1945 to 1948 in Japan and the United States. He lived up and down the West Coast, from California to Alaska and worked as an electronics technician for 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing, and telephoning his family and friends.

Mr. Loux is survived by his wife, Marguerite Lucile Loux of Sweet Home; daughter Rebecca Loux Cole of Sweet Home; sons Terry Loux of Pasco, Wash., John Loux of Corvallis and Jay Loux of Caldwell, Idaho; brothers Gene Loux of Santa Monica, Calif., and Don Loux of Nampa, Idaho; sisters Nyla Lott of Dallas, and Neoma Meng of Lebanon; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers Raymond, Wayne, Orville and Ralph Jr. Loux; sisters Edna Hoyt, Priscilla Butcher and Esther McIntyre; parents Ralph E. and Gladys Loux; and a grandson, Jeffrey Loux.
