Dear Editor,
We are already inundated with homeless people in this neighborhood and have had plenty of problems. We don’t need more.
We had ONE notice about the park and that said nothing about a homeless camp as part of it. It is flatly untrue that we were notified several times.
I also do not believe that there were no nests in those trees. I understand a need to thin the trees to prevent a wildfire hazard, but the trees have been decimated and not thinned. God knows where the birds have gone. Is there a biologist’s report we can read? Surely, there was a qualified biologist involved in such a serious decision.
Do better at running this little town. And that means more than the lipstick on a pig painting project.
