Deborah Annette Wolfe Vosburg, 37, died Nov. 21, 2006 at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital, due to a stroke.
She was born Oct. 23, 1969 in Lebanon to David Wayne and Lynn Wolfe. She grew up in Sweet Home, graduating from Sweet Home High School in 1987. She graduated Cum Laude from Oregon State University in 1997.
She began employment with Benton County in 1997, working at the Fairgrounds. She loved working there and was always excited about putting on the annual fair. Later she moved to the Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Department in Benton County where she served a caseload of adults until her death.
On April 4, 1998, she married Chris Vosburg in Corvallis, Oregon. Their family included two children: Alyssa, 6, and Brendan, 10 months. She was a devoted mother who loved children. She was also an avid scrap booker and enjoyed spending hours with family and friends in that endeavor. Debbi was known as one who always put others’ needs before her own and was a caring and giving person to everyone she met.
Mrs. Vosburg is survived by her husband, Chris; daughter, Alyssa; son, Brendan; parents, Lynn and Wayne Wolfe of Sweet Home; sister Suzanne and brother-in-law Al Costephens of Albany; brother David and sister-in-law Jennifer Wolfe of Sweet Home; and mother- and father-in-law Kathy and Art Vosburg of Corvallis. She is also survived by two nephews, a niece, many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven W. Wolfe.
Funeral services were to be held Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the Sweet Home Church of Christ at 18th and Long. A private family interment was to follow at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home. On-line condolences for the family can be left at http://www.hustonjost.com.
