DeLoris “Cricket” Britton, 94, of Lebanon, died Saturday at her home. She was born in Weeping Water, Neb., to Joseph Milton and Pearl Adell (Scott) Kilborn. She graduated from Lewisville High School in 1931.
She married Harold Britton on Jan. 31, 1935 in Glenwood, Iowa. They came to Sweet Home in 1941. Mr. Britton died in 1994 and Mrs. Britton lived in Lebanon since 1987 with her great-granddaughter Heather and great-great-granddaughter Sabrina.
Mrs. Britton was a lady small in size but with a huge heart. She loved everything about others without passing judgment.
She is survived by her children, Darold Britton of Foster, Wes Britton of Harrisburg, and Sharrell Stevens of Quartzside, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded by one great-great-grandson; two brothers, Milton and Truman; and two sisters, Maude and Lydia.
Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel, which is handling the arrangements.
