Sweet Home has been hit hard these past few weeks.
With the loss of three iconic men – Pat McCollum, Bob Waibel and Tom Hufford – it’s hard to express how sad that is and what this town has lost.
These men gave selflessly and they have been the backbone of our community and have made Sweet Home the town it is today. They have touched so many lives and have given back in so many ways.
It’s our turn as a community to step up and follow in these great men’s shoes and keep making Sweet Home a great place to live and most of all a great place to raise your kids.
These men knew how to get things done and they never knew a stranger.
Let us all keep their memories and most of all their sense of community alive and make Sweet Home count.
Support everyone local and most of all support each other. Community is what these men were about and they knew how to make things happen and how to make things better.
Sometimes it’s not about the money it’s about the time and effort and just showing you care that make things happen.
Hats off to these men who make each of us a little better and will show us the way to make Sweet Home a place to always call home.
