Deputies seize marijuana, LSD in Brush Creek Drive residence

Linn County Sheriff’s deputies seized marijuana and LSD at a Brush Creek Road residence Wednesday, June 17.

Sheriff Tim Mueller said detectives, armed with a search warrant, went to an 18-acre property at 25030 Brush Creek Road after receiving a tip. He said they discovered a marijuana growing operation in a “specially made grow room” inside a residence at the site.

Investigators seized approx-imately 1 pound of processed marijuana and several firearms. They found 10 marijuana plants, in various stages of growth, in the grow room.

One plant was located outside the property, Mueller said. He said detectives also seized LSD.

Kelly Caudell, 31, was cited and released for manufacturing a controlled substance: marijuana and possession of a controlled substance: marijuana. The case is still under investigation.
