April 7, 1949 – Feb. 17, 2026
Diane Jane Ader, 76, passed away Feb. 17, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and friendships.
She was born April 7, 1949 at Langmack Hospital in Sweet Home to Robert Lucas and Jane (Winzer) Lucas. Diane spent most of her life in Sweet Home, where she built lasting friendships and became well known for her warm spirit and generous heart.
She worked at T&M Pizza for a number of years before going to work at Embossing Arts, then the Lebanon Safeway deli.
She was a bit of a rule-breaker at times, but that was part of her charm. She lived life with personality, honesty, and a spark that made her unforgettable. She will be remembered most for her kind and giving nature, always willing to lend a hand or share a smile.
Diane had a personality that could light up a room and make anyone smile. Her laughter, strength, and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind her sister, Bonny Cochran; two children, Derek Ader and Shelley (Ader) Mason; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson, who will miss her deeply and carry her memory with them always.
Diane’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone whose lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Sweet Home Elks Lodge. Some food/snacks and beverages will be provided for those attending.
