Frank R. Eckles and Louise Poitras announced their engagement Thursday evening at Dinner with Daisy.
“We met here a year ago this time,” Eckles said. “We both lost our spouses and didn’t know each other.”
The two started volunteering at about the same time and got to know each other. Thursday night, Eckles proposed to Poitras.
