Enrollment in School District 55 is up by 61 students this year.
As of the Friday, enrollment in Sweet Home was at 2,436 students, up from 2,375 last year. The district had projected a decrease of 13 students.
“The first week is almost done,” Supt. Larry Horton said Friday afternoon. “It’s very exciting to see enrollment up. I think we’re off to a great start.”
