Suzette Andersen – High School, Family and Consumer Studies.
Andersen is a graduate of Oregon State University. She taught family and consumer studies for two years in Springfield.
Luke Augsburger – High School, Social Studies
Augsburger graduated from OSU in June with bachelor’s degrees in history and education. This is his first teaching assignment.
Terry Augustadt – Hawthorne and Holley, Counselor
Augustadt obtained his master of arts degree in school counseling at Northwest Christian College. This is his first year as a school counselor.
Kate Buehler – Crawfordsville and Holley, Physical Education
Buehler completed her bachelors degree at the University of Idaho. She is a first-year teacher and will be half-time at Holley and half-time at Crawfordsville.
Jill Denbrook – Hawthorne and Foster, Title I
Denbrook will teach Title I kindergarten at Hawthorne and will be a half-time Title I teacher at Foster. She taught last year in Japan. She is a graduate of the University of Idaho.
Chelsea Frick – Oak Heights, Second grade
Frick is a graduate of Sweet Home High School and recently completed her bachelor’s degree at Western Governors University. This is her first teaching assignment.
Eric Herst – High School, Alternative Education
Herst has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Irvine, California; a master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University; and a master’s degree from Portland State University. He taught one year in Nogales, Ariz.
Elizabeth Johnson – Junior High, Science
Johnson completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree at OSU. She is a first-year teacher.
Tegan Johnson – Oak Heights, PE/Movement
Johnson has a bchelors dgree from the University of Oregon, and her master’s degree is from OSU. This will be her sixth year teaching.
Anna Joshu – High School, Basic Life Skills/Special Ed
Joshu is a recent graduate of the University of Mary in North Dakota. This is her first teaching assignment.
Kostanty Knurowski – High School, PE/Health
Knurowski completed his degree at Western Oregon University and taught three years in Salem. He is also the new head boys basketball coach.
Sarah Lynn – Junior High, Social Studies
Lynn has a bachelor’s degree from OSU. This is her first year as a teacher.
Michael Morrell – High School, Business Education
Morrell obtained his bachelor’s degrees at OSU, one in accounting and one in education. He taught at LBCC this past year.
Stephanie Moseley – High School, Language Arts
Moseley has two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Oregon, one in English and one in Sociology, and completed her master’s degree at Pacific University. This is her first teaching assignment.
Valerie Reinhard – Junior High, Resource Room/Special Ed
Reinhard has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree from Pacific University. She is a first year teacher.
Debra Sayre – Hawthrone, Sixth-Grade Job Share
Sayre obtained her bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University and completed her master’s degree through the University of Phoenix. She is a first-year teacher.
