Don Hart, 54, of Sweet Home died on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007.
He was born in Los Angeles on Aug. 1, 1953 the son of James L. and Fay (Garcia) Hart.
He married Melanie on Oct. 27, 1973 in Montrose, Calif. They moved to Sweet Home in 1994.
He had a carpet cleaning and installation business until having to move to a Dallas nursing home.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie (Waugh) Hart; son, Don Hart Jr. of Sweet Home; daughter, Brandi (Hart) Sitton of Lebanon; son, Damon Hart of Corvallis; mother, Fay Hart of Sweet Home; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Hart, who died on Sept. 11.
Neptune Society of Portland is handling arrangements. There will be no service.
