Donald Austin, 73, of Sweet Home died Oct. 27, 2015 in Billings, Mont.
He was born Sept. 4, 1942 to Theodore and Frances Austin in Minot, N.D.
Mr. Austin served honorably and proudly in the United States Marine Corps. His career covered sales and management in the lumber industry, and inventory control and management with Stanley Tools and Valley Industries. He was most proud of his time with the youth organization Young Marines.
Mr. Austin is survived by his wife Peggy and daughter Michelle, both of Sweet Home; son Don of Ekalaka, Mont.; one brother, Tim, of Bismarck, N.D.; and one sister, Voni Kirkman, of Gladstone, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
