To help out with car fires far up into the pass, Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District (SHFAD) and Wilbur-Ellis, an farm supply company, have donated a tank, pump and hose to the Mountain House.
The Mountain House, owned and operated by Dan and Kim Powers, is about 25 miles east of Sweet Home on Highway 20s.
