Doris Lillian Slater, 83, died March 26, 2011.
She and her twin sister Dorothy were born April 13, 1927 on Fern Hill, near Foster, the 10th and 11th of 16 children of Otto and Pearl Slater.
She attended Fern Hill and Sunnyside Schools, and graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1946.
Miss Slater worked at Eastern Washington College of Education as a cook for six years. Later…
