Dorothy Jean McCluskey, 86, of Sweet Home died Feb. 8, 2015.
She was born Feb. 11, 1928 in New Kensington, Pa., to Lauren and Elizabeth (Booth) Oldham.
She was raised in Pennsylvania. She married Eugene McCluskey on Sept. 25, 1948 and they moved to Southern California shortly thereafter, where they raised their four children.
She later retired and moved to Sweet Home in 1996.
Mrs. McCluskey was an executive secretary for the Los Angeles County School District. She was an Elkette.
She loved to cook, dance, and paint. She worked crossword puzzles and enjoyed playing games, including pinochle, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. McCluskey is survived by her children, Diane and son-in-law John Hayball and and their three sons, Geoffrey, Justin and Rodney; Danny McCluskey and his three children, Melissa, Craig and Michelle; Gary and daughter-in-law Charlene McCluskey and their three daughters, Jennifer, Sarah and Amanda; and Valerie and son-in-law Al Lemmon and their four children, Sean, Breanne, Kayla and Emily; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McCluskey (1987); and her sister, Lorraine Flannigan.
Viewing was held on Friday, Feb. 13, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A funeral service followed.
