She was born Aug. 18, 1943 in Waianae, Hawaii to Elias and Katherine (Lopes) Garcia Sr.
She lived in Hawaii until 1986, in Bethel Island, California until 1988, in Moses Lake, Washington until 2000, then moved to Sweet Home.
