Two Sweet Home coaches have been named Coach of the Year in their sports by the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association.
Sweet Home swimming Coach Doug Peargin has been named the sport’s 4A/3A/2A/1A Coach of the Year, and wrestling Coach Steve Thorpe was named the 4A Coach of the Year.
The awards were presented at a ceremony at Autzen Stadium in Eugene on May 20.
